Dear Kim,
I regret that I cannot participate in the online course that you are offering. However, I do want to tell you how interested I am in the book Strategic Management Dynamics and the innovative material you cover there. One of the messages that I constantly try to convey to students in all my teaching is the accelerating pace of change in the environments in which they will spend their careers. Most of my work, research, and teaching on strategic management is in the health care and biotechnology industries – in more persistent ferment that most other sectors of the economy.
I was delighted to see that your book was directly addressing this dynamic characteristic of strategy-making. My first thought was “Why has no one done this before?” My second thought was that this is so good and important that I would like to find the time and space to devote an entire course to it.
Thanks for the imagination and effort.
