Strategy Dynamics Ltd was founded in 1996 and is based near London, UK.
In 2005 the Strategy Dynamics approach was recognised as an important
contribution to Strategy and System Dynamics through the award of the
Jay W Forrester Prize to Kim Warren,
for his first book, Competitive Strategy Dynamics.
Our purpose has always been
to help organisations radically improve performance through the use of a
practical, reliable method for developing and implementing strategy - whether
for the whole operation, or for any part of it, and whether they need a continuing plan or a
solution to a one-time issue. The Strategy Dynamics method can do that because it captures
exactly how an enterprise works as an integrated, working system and how
that system sustains itself and delivers performance. And because it is
built on rock-solid underlying principles, it works for any kind of organisation
- large or small, whether in the corporate, government, or voluntary sectors, and at any
stage in its life (even before it gets started!)
We provide online courses, course materials and simulations, training and strategy services
to individuals and to commercial, academic and not-for-profit organisations.
Our in-depth courses, delivered on-line, include many templates and
models that are directly and immediately usable by others. We also supply these materials -
and the courses themselves - to other teachers and trainers. The method and the teaching are
all supported by a powerful, easy-to-use software to apply the method and reference books on
how it works. We also offer tailored training and advisory services based on the method to
commercial, academic and not-for-profit organizations.
We develop and supply all our own products, so we can offer fast, personal assistance and if
required adapt what we provide to clients' needs.

Microworlds from Strategy Dynamics are successfully used in in-house and
executive education training events in general management, system dynamics and
strategy.
Designed to be used in small groups these simulations create a risk free
learning environment and foster team building. Whether your group is of 5
people or 50 we can provide flexible and affordable licences for your event and
licences for repeat events can be organised by email minimising administrative
effort.
Our simulations are popular with participants, so long as adequate forethought
is given - a feature that reflects well on the instructor!
Our simulations are now online at sdgamesonline.com
We help you deliver a successful course by providing...
-
Comprehensive teaching packs that enable you to incorporate our Microworlds
rapidly into your training repertoire.

Related products - Simulation software
The "mystrategy" simulation software package was developed to complement the Strategy Dynamics
approach in 2002. This was superceded by "Sysdea" an online system dynamics software
built on the same principles: ease of use and clear structure. After rebranding as "Silico" it has subesequently been taken on by PathFwd Inc in 2024 (pathfwd.io) and will be futher developed. Access the app here: silico.app.
We use Silico as an integral part of our courses.
