In Section 1 'Core Concepts' this course works through the reasoning behind the use of the Strategy Dynamics approach and develops the concept of the strategic architecture. By developing a fact based view of a business system participants can explore and understand issues surrounding corporate performance and begin to develop strategies that will improve the performance of their business units over time.

Section 2 develops some more advanced topics dealing with intangibles, different forms of rivalry and industry factors.
